Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) is an American actress and singer. Wuhrer began her career as a teenager and is best known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. There are three siblings and brothers. The singer was in her teens who performed in clubs and hid from home for the sake of performing.
