They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. In order to achieve success she experimented with different music styles and experimented on themes. Due to her distinctiveness and talent as a performer, she was praised by critics and won a few important awards. Notably, she's won the Grammy Award a record three times. Aside from her career in music, she's also been featured on film and television. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.
